Up until recently, I was running a Mirage Nanosat 5.1 system, with two extra Nanosats being used for the surround back channels, and an Omnisat V2 CC instead of the standard Nanosat CC. I recently purchased a pair of Klipsch Synergy F-10 floorstanding speakers for my front left and right...

I was looking into building a large maybe 25x35+ home theater in my attic with 3 tiered rows(5seats each). A projector screen either 150" or 200"(not sure yet) so my first row would end about 17ft away from the screen then 8ft tier and another 8ft tier. I plan to get a pioneer elite SC-79...
I am replacing my old theater in a box 5.1 system and am looking for a good, quality sub.
I have been doing some research and there are a ton of options out there. So, I was hoping to get some recommendations or just some plain good advice on choices. I am planning...
I currently own the JBL ES250PW and my fronts are beautyful RF62Mk2, which I love.
I want to upgrade my Sub to be able to get a 2nd of identicalt type (The JBLs are simply not available for a reasonable price anymore in Austria or somewhere around).
My Budget is ~500 Euro.
I'm going to pull the trigger on one of these in about an hour. Both are reviewed well, but i'm interested in what you audiophiles have to say.
I'm not paying retail so please don't suggest something else. I know for the MSRP there are plenty of options, but i'm not in that situation, I have...
Hi to All
I have a Pioneer SC-LX90 "Susano", and i would like to get even more detail.
I don't know if this is the right way to go, but i am considering 2 systems:
- Krell "The Foundation" Processor
- Krell S-1500 7 Channel Amplifier
- Mcintosh MX-151
We are redoing our house and in our basement we are going to have a TV and surround sound system. The room is 15' by 35' and we are going to be have a seating area with a tv and surround sound on one side. Our main seating will be against one wall and the TV will be 15' away on the...
I currently have a Klipsch SW-115 on SW1 input on my Marantz 6007. I just bought a Rythmik fv15hp to use along side it, I assume on SW2 input on my Marantz into the LFE 1 RCA input. Is that ok? Or do I need to use a Y splitter and use both the LFE 1 and 2?
What settings on the back of the...
I've got a Marantz 6007 receiver and it has two sub outs. Right now I have one Klipsch SW-115. I'm thinking of adding a second sub. What sub should I get, (a second SW-115, or something else) and what sub should go to each port on the receiver? I really like LFE, and my room is rather large...
Today I stopped by Crutchfield to pick up the mentioned sub to test out at home. I decided to get the scratch and dent model which has a slight dent in the back(not bad) to use as my test. No need in bringing home a new one and making it used just so I can test it, I thought.
I just built a new system with the following:
2 RF-82II Towers
1 RC-62II Center
2 RS-52II Surrounds
1 SW-115 Subwoofer
Harman Kardon AVR 3650 7.1 AV Receiver
On the back of the sub it has:
Phase 180 or 0
Gain 1 to 11
Low pass 40hz to 150hz
What should I set those to...
I did not find any official review of this sub...
I already have the Reference series speakers RF-62 except the sub
I know Klipsch are not a leader in Sub like SVS or Rythmik...
but the SW-115 seem to had good specs...?
did someone already test it?
any comments will be...
My question is Will I miss much in performance if I go with 2 Klipsch SW-115 subs instead of 1 VTF-15H? The SW-115 seems to be a step in the right direction for Klipsch and the specs look similar to the VTF-15H. Will the 2 hertz and the 600 short term watts make a big difference in the real...
I've been contemplating replacing my puny little PB12 Plus/2 with one of the new "Big Dogs" in the game (ED A7-900 or Epik Conquest) The problem is I would like to see some real world pictures of these beasts in people's actual rooms. The mfg. specific threads for the things stretch up into the...
