Ok fellas, I am an audio noob and know I am doing something wrong here. I just hooked up the new sub to replace my Klipsch SW350 8 inch last night and watched the new Hunger games. I could hear the bass and the much deeper extensions but it was so quiet and hardly noticeable that my wife...
Receiver: Pioneer VSX-1122
Front Speakers L&R: Polk TSX330T
Center: Klipsch Quintet
Sub: Klipsch SW350
SB& SR Klipsch Quintet
So here is my concern, The internal crossover of the Klipsch Quintet's is 110hz. SO my receiver was crossed over at 80. So this left my sub playing...
I've been a long time reader, but this is my first post, as all the reading has given me the itch to upgrade, but I'm not sure where to start. I've posted a couple of photos of my "ok" system here. Essentially here is the package:
3 B&W M1 speakers (RLC)
2 Orb audio mod1x (surround)
Up until recently, I was running a Mirage Nanosat 5.1 system, with two extra Nanosats being used for the surround back channels, and an Omnisat V2 CC instead of the standard Nanosat CC. I recently purchased a pair of Klipsch Synergy F-10 floorstanding speakers for my front left and right...
Just wondering if my Yamaha RXV567 (90w per channel x7) will hold up against a pair of RF-82ii's ? I have a little sub (SW-350) Klipsch.. I will eventually upgrade the receiver but for now I am taking one step at a time. I was going to grab the towers and an RC-62ii for the center and add...
Hi everyone. I already have the Yamaha RX-V567 along with a Klipsch Sub SW-350.. I know these aren't that impressive but... My question is what Klipsch speakers would be good for them? Do I need floor standers or should I go 2 pair of bookshelves? (not sure if my sub is good enough). Was...
Hello everyone! I'm currently in the middle of setting up a little 5.1 sound set. I just wanted some opinions so far.
I had owned a Klipsch SW-350 sub woofer, and a pair of Klipsch Icon KB-15's for about six months, and really liked them. Especially for the price. I one day found another...
my denon avr x1000 receiver have wired (klipsch) sub woofer 350 connected to it. I would like to set up wireless for sw 350 subwoofer . I am aware of klipsch wireless kit but i read that only works for klipsch. I heard about rocketfish option. I don't know if that works with klipsch sw 350...
Hi I would like to get some advice on what I should set my crossover frequencies to. My specs are as follows:
Receiver: Denon AVR-1912
Center: Bose VCS10 (This is a link to the PDF manual...the speaker is not sold anymore so this is the best spec sheet I could find)
FL,FR: Bose 201
I am still narrowing down my home theatre. My living room 24' x 18' with 8' ceilings and 95% of the time will be for watching movies. I have a 60" Samsung LED television in a small corner, There is 2' of open space (for the sub-woofer) next to the tv, before hitting the fireplace.
I am looking for some advice regarding my future purchase of some speakers. I am looking to replace some old blown out technical towers with something new. I am not very good with audio specs so hoping I could get some help.
Here is what I currently have:
Denon 1613 avr
I am torn between Yamaha RX-V775WA and the Denon AVR-X3000. I could also throw in the Denon AVR-X4000, but don't see a whole lot of benefit to spending a couple hundred dollars more.
What would people in here suggest?
I know Polk doesn't get that much love but the Polk Monitor Series II are the only speaker line I have known and I have been pleased (ignorance is bliss, right?), but the internet has told me I can do better. I have a 7.1 system right now:
Monitor 75Ts - fronts
Monitor 25C - center
Basically i'm brand new to home theatre, as in i've never even had blu ray new. Please tell me what you think of what I decided on. I was looking for a quality system on a budget.
Tv = Vizio e70 model led TV
Blu-ray player = LG bp330
Speakers = pioneer Andrew Jones system (minus sub)
