I have an entertainment center with a whole bunch of remotes I want to consolidate. Here are the components:
LG smart TV
Apple TV (have 1st gen and 2nd gen I could use)
Directv DVR receiver
Ideally I want a universal remote (right now we have to turn on...
I've tried universal remotes before and they seem to work fine until you run out of battery and you have to re program them. Are there any with non volatile memory or one with a watch battery that keeps the settings programmed into them even if the remote batteries go out and need to be changed?
I just bought a sound bar from Proficient called MaxTV. It is a very nice sounding bar but that is not my point. I want to find a remote that will run my LG smart TV, my DirecTV box, and this Proficient MaxTV sound bar without having to use the sound bar tiny remote separately. Has anyone found...
I can't figure out how to search on tapatalk so I'll just post my question instead (I am more of a lurker/learner than a poster)
Anyways I am in the midst of transforming my basement into a home theaterish setup and with that leaves me no room for all of my amps/receiver/ps3/cable box/etc...
I will probably be looking to get a Harmony remote for my living room setup, probably a 450. I've been wondering how the macro functions work when controlling devices to accomplish a certain task.
Let's say you have one macro for "Watch TV". As I understand it, the remote sends out a series...
A new Harmony support site for the Ultimate, Smart Control, Touch and 650 remote models went live yesterday. The site was redesigned for easier use and contains updated support articles, etc.
We'd love to get feedback on this new site, as well as your thoughts on how it...
The wife and I currently have basic cable and do most of our watching on free TV and movie sites on the internet via the laptop. We want to upgrade and overhaul everything although we'll still probably do most of our viewing via streaming as we're usually too busy to watch a lot of live TV.
I'm using PC (win 7) to play most of my medias. I have a 2.4G keyboard/touch pad for the control duty. Now I started using harmony to get rid of all my other remotes, but the PC control is a difficult one.
I'm not looking for a replacement of a full sized mouse/keyboard, just need to use...
...I'm sure this has probably been done to death but bear with me if you would. I have a rather simple setup and I'm looking for a Harmony to reduce clutter.
My system needs are as follows:
55' VT60 panel
Fios DVR box (connected to TV by HDMI)
Panasonic Bluray player (connected to TV by...
My remote is stuck in the help screen. I've reset it to the safe mode, synched it to my settings in myHarmony, all without success. If necessary I guess I could program all the settings in again, but there must be a fix. Any help would be appreciated. Jerry
Alright I can't make sense of anything these days with remotes. I've been out of the loop for awhile.
I'm getting close to having my basement theater finished, and I need a remote. Obviously I want 1 remote to rule them all. Here's my equipment list:
Epson 8100 Projector
So this is what I would like to turn on/off and have control :
- Yamaha AV Receiver (No ethernet)
- LED LG 47LM7600 (WIFI)
- HTPC running Windows 8 and XBMC (HDMI - Ethernet)
- TV Cable DVR box (HDMI Input - Ethernet)
Right now I'm using:
- the Yamaha AV receiver remote to turn it on...
So I just bought the Harmony 650 and it seems like it has a great interface and overall is a good remote. The problem I'm having is that it is not consistent with its response. I've read that other people have the same problem. I need to point the remote straight at my dvr to make sure it...
I currently have the 650 and HATE it.
I want to get something that will last a while.
What is the main diff between the two?
Does one have a bigger or better touch screen? Backlight buttons? ETC?
What would you get and why?
Ok.. So I bought my new Logitech harmony 650... I went through all the set up ... signed on and went through the wizard set up. At first I thought it was all working. Press watch tv.... it worked fine.. press listen to music from current possition of "watch tv" and it does not go to the right...
Hi. My local B&W retailer offered me a Panorama 1 for $1,500 or a Panorama 2 for $2,000. Other than HDMI hookups, do you know if there's a meaningful sound difference between the two? Said differently, would you pay the extra $500 to get the updated model assuming the HDMI's not that important...
