A while back I purchased my first HT setup consisting of the Jamo S606 HCS3 speaker set and a Denon AVR-591. I've been more than happy with my purchase, but I'm just finally getting the itch to add more low end. The Jamo towers have 8" woofers built in and handle things quite well, but are...
Looking for some advice on a receiver for a new ML 5.1 set up.
(2) motion 2's back
Motion 8 center
Dynamo 500 sub
And either (2) Motion 20's or Motion 40's for front, Depending on how much I have to spend on a receiver.
I've attempted a little research and I'm still...
Hey guys, so I recently got a Martin Logan Dynamo 500 for my home theater room and I am pleased with it, but it is definitely not as good as the definitive I had back home, but I also didn't want to spend as much as the definitives were, on my system at college. So now I am thinking about...
I'm interested in the Dynamo 500. The specs say that the frequency response is 29HZ - 200HZ and the low pass filter from 50HZ - 200HZ. What is the low pass filter? and does the sub actually go as low as 29HZ when the low pass filter starts at 50HZ. I need some info about this.
I'm interested in the Dynamo 500 but I need to clarify something. The sub specs say that the sub frequency response is from 29HZ - 200HZ and the low pass filter from 50HZ - 200HZ.
What is the difference between the two and how low does it actually go?
Hey guys, I've had my dynamo for a while now, and recently the amp malfunctioned and went crazy. Luckily I filled out the registration card and got the the year warranty... anyway, I forgot to write down my settings and forgot what they were before getting the new amp back... Just wanted to see...
OK, sorry for the loss of composure there but I started out a few days ago with a simple question... A Polk PSW125 or dual Mark Logan Dynamo 500's. Of course, no one answered that other than to say I should get a SVS instead, which was not really helpful at the time... or so I thought. Of...
My home theatre is as follows:
- 2x Klipsch RF52II Towers
- Klipsch RC-52 Center
- 2x Klipsch R-2650 II (in-wall)
- 2x Bose 161 (built into the column post)
I need 2 subwoofers, price range under $600. The Martin Logan Dynamo 500 are on sale right now for $199 each...
I am totally powerless in front of my New ML Dynamo 500 and my Denon AVR-E300
AVR-E300 tells me to plug my cable in the Sub.
The Sub tells me to plug the cable in the AVR...
The Sub has a Right in and Left in. The instructions seem to be telling me to plug both.
So Boxing day and the fact that your reviews of Bose Cinemate II were totally awful triggered me to build my own HT system.
Oh, of course I will listen music on it.
I am not a connoisseur though.
1. Already have :
I just bought a Denon AVR E300 and a Martin Logan Dynamo 500...
Hi all - I am looking at getting one of these subs as they are on sale for boxing day here in Canada. I know they aren't the greatest prices but we do get hosed here so our choices are limited a bit.
Anyway - are these decent subs and which do you think is the better deal ? The Martin Logan...
Like the title says would my bass sound better and be more powerful running two martin logan dynamo 500s or one definitive technologies super cube 4000. The dynamos are 10" 360 watts, but are only 120 watts rms. The super cube is one 8" with two 8" radiators and 1200 watts.
I already own...
I have a dynamo 500 that is only about 8 months old. Over the weekend a friend came over and turned my system up well beyond where I normally ever play it. I quickly ran into the room and turned it down, but it played at a very high level for about 20 to 30 seconds. When I say it was being...
I am trying to decide between the three listed in the title. I will use it for both Music and HT. The center and the surround will come later. The room dimensions are 16X17X9. Mostly listen to rock and jazz. I have a Martin Logan Dynamo 500 subwoofer. Will probably replace that by a Rythmic at...
My current setup is the following:
Audioengine D1 DAC (via USB)
NAD C 326BEE Amp
DynAudio Excite X12 Speakers
Martin Logan Dynamo 500 Subwoofer
I am contemplating upgrading the DAC to the Cambridge Audio DacMagic Plus, and was wondering if it was a worthwhile upgrade.
That is, is...
