This may have been asked before but I didn't find it in the pages I looked/searched over. Has anyone upgraded to the 7900 from a HC3800/4000? I have the 3800 and would like to know if this would be a noticeable difference maker.

I'm looking for about a 110" screen for no more than $1500. The lower the price the better. I use to have white walls, but painted all the walls a light grey. I now miss the pop I had with the white wall, but do enjoy the increase contrast since the light control isn't not the best in my living...

After 3 years and over 7000 hours (2 lamps) my Mits has a small dust blob and I'm very interested in replacing it with the W1070. I've read most of the posts on the 1070 thread and it seems ideal because I want a bright picture with a lot of 'pop'.
Now, what I'd like to know is how folks...

My budget is around 1200$(Actually 900 euros). Because I concluded that there is no chance
to get a good new projector with this budget I decided to go for a second hand good projector.
