I'm moving in to my first home and my wife and I love to watch movies and listen to a lot of music. I want opinions from professional.

I have a 20x25 room with couch and recliner at the back wall (it's setup long rather than wide) and surrounds to either side. I am redoing my home theater and am currently installing the following setup:
Receiver: Pioneer SC-1323k
Fronts: Polk Monitor 45b
Center: Polk Monitor 45b...
I am currently looking at picking up either the Polk TSi400's or the Polk New Monitor 75T's. I have read countless reviews on both and wanted more opinions on how they stack up to one another. These will be the main speakers in a 20 deep by 15 wide room hooked up to a Pioneer VSX-522 reciever...
I went from a Polk PSW505 to a HSU VTF-3R ( the original ), and I think I need more.
My room is 10 x 20 x 8, so 1600 cu ft, and opens up into a little foyer which then goes both into the dining room, and upstairs.
It's not a huge space but it is long, and I'm up in the air over what my best...
Greetings all. First-time poster here. Background about me: I purchased a Harman Kardon AVR 1700 last year and was running a 2-channel setup with two Polk Monitor 75Ts. I recently decided to add some additional channels and my setup took shape as follows:
HK AVR 1700 +
Polk Monitor 75Ts...
Hey, I'm completely new here. I'm in the market for some floorstanding Polk's to go with my Monitor 25c (center) and my 35b (current front speakers but will become surround speakers soon). I am thinking I'll go with the Monitor 65t's as the 75t's are just out of my price range. Newegg has them...
Hi I recently received a Krell KAV-280p preamp and a Krell KAV-2250 amplifier, and was hoping to put together some speakers for it.
I have a few questions!
I'd like to come in at under about $500, which doesn't let me do a lot fancy.
I can pick up a set of Polk Audio TSx330Ts...
Hi guys, long time lurker but finally saved up some money for a surround sound setup and need some advice.
Budget for the speakers is $1000 or less and the amp I'm flexible on, say around $500.
I've heard very good things about the Polk speakers and they are a good price on Newegg.
Last week I made some big upgrades to my HT. I had an older Samsung SmartTV and purchased a new Samsung UN65D8000 which is their flagship model. I also upgraded my HTIB speakers with some Polk Monitor 75T for my fronts and TSi CS10 for my center and Monitor 40s for my surround sound. I...
I'm new to the home audio in general, but I've been learning a lot over the past few months. I just purchased a BIC America F12 subwoofer, but I'm not sure that it is configured correctly/appropriately as I'm not noticing major bass improvements. My setup is as follows:
I recently bought,
2 x Polk Audio New Monitor 75T Four-Way Ported Floorstanding Loudspeaker
4 x Klipsch Synergy S-10 Premium WDST Surround Speakers
1 x Definitive Technology Mythos Three Table Top and On-Wall Center Channel Speaker
1 x Polk Audio PSW Series PSW505 12" Powered...
I know Polk doesn't get that much love but the Polk Monitor Series II are the only speaker line I have known and I have been pleased (ignorance is bliss, right?), but the internet has told me I can do better. I have a 7.1 system right now:
Monitor 75Ts - fronts
Monitor 25C - center
I am planning to setup my first HT in my basement for around $8000 budget excluding tv/projector.
Want to go for a high end system - Thinking of Pioneer Elite SC 75, polk 75 Ts.
I have zero experience with this kind of equipment but I am a techie and I have a kind of good ears.
***4/29 PM UPDATE***
Bought 2 Polk New Monitor 75Ts for $360. Now deciding on which Center speaker to buy.
Which should I choose: Polk C25 or a CS2? Or should I just buy whichever one is currently on sale?
I just received $480 today for my birthday, and I did't...
I recently purchased the Monitor 75T floor standing speakers for use in my media room. I already had the Monitor 70 Series II as part of my main family room home theater, so I thought I'd do a little side-by-side comparison.
You can see the specs and features of each speaker here:
