I bought this open box of the YHT-397 for $171 out the door from hhgreg (brick & mortar store) . As much as I like the set, I noticed a bunch of things missing and wondering if I should return my purchase. Plus, I'm quite new to the home theater scene.
I am sorry if this has been asked many times but I did a search for "PS4 Audio" and did not find it. (to be fair I didn't look past first page)
Anyways in the PS4 I wanted to make sure I get the best sound I can get from my PS4. I have a Yamaha YHT 397.
My TV is connected to it via HDMI...
hello, how is everyone doing?
i know this question has been asked alot but every year home theater models change and new updates are made.
so i have around 400-500 to spend in a home theater i was already looking at some options but im not sure which one to go with.
i mainly want it for...
I bought an LG NB2520A soundbar and am unsure of which is the better connection:
1. cable and blu-ray to TV via HDMI, then TV to soundbar via optical; or
2. cable and blu-ray to soundbar via HDMI, then soundbar to TV via HDMI.
My TV has optical audio out only.
The soundbar is intended...
I need some advise on choosing a 5.1 HTIB system. I am looking to spend around $400.00 and I am driving myself crazy trying to decide between Onkyo and Yamaha models. For the life of my I cannot make a decision between the Onkyo s3500, s5400, s5500 and the Yamaha YHT 597, 495 or 397.
Which one is better? I was going to get denon refurb but it sold out...so thinking of getting yamaha as a good alternative?
what you think?
here are differences..
yamaha new: $399 w/ 2 year warranty
600 watt system
yamaha speakers (82-85dB sensivity)
