1.85 ration screen size

can anyone tell me what the screen size (height and width) would be for a 100" diagonal 1.85 ratio screen. What is the formual to figure this out?

width / height = 1.85 or 1.85 * height = width http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

To find the legnths from a diagonal, use Pythagorean theorem: a² + b² = c² (c is the diagonal, a and b are the sides). 1² + 1.85² = x². x = 2.1. Whatever diagonal you have, divide by 2.1. Use that to multiply by 1 and 1.85 to get respective height and width. In this case 88x48 as stated correctly above.
