Ok, I admit, I used to use my PS2 as a DVD player for my 27" Sony. Given that its wasn't that great of a TV, this was ok (not good, mind you, but passable). But now things are have changed - I bought a new 42" panny (TH42PWD6UY - EDTV) plasma for the living room and moved the Sony into the bedroom.

Using the PS2 as a DVD player for the Panny would be a crime against humanity and since the PS2 is going to be hooked up in the living room for video games, I'm gonna need another DVD player for the Sony.

So that means two DVD players, one reasonably high-end (say, a price ceiling of $300, maybe $400 if its really worth the money) for the panny and one low-end (lets try to keep this one under $100) for the Sony. What would you suggest, especially now that features seem to be replacing quality on reasonably priced DVD players?
