just like the title says i have dual vtf3 mk2 subs set up on both sides of my couch like end tables been happy with this set up for a while. I have bass traps and use my onkyo 876 for ep. any advantage going to a single vtf 15. room is large and open and the subs are not near any walls

In 2006 I had dual VTF-3 MKII before getting the VTF-3 HO w/turbo, and they were no match for the HO w/turbo. I replaced the HO w/turbo with the 15H and it's not even close. The 15H is a lot more sub than the HO w/turbo and a REAL lot more sub than the dual VTF-3 MKII. The extension, the SPL, the mid bass it's all superior with the 15H. There's just no comparison.
