All I can say is... we'll see. We've all seen many reports of lab-produced multiple layer prototypes over the last few years. The question is if any of these technologies will become viable for mass-production. If they're not, then all these companies are doing is the old "mine is bigger than yours" routine. Certainly nothing new in this industry.

That's even a lot of layers for a bean dip.
I wonder how they got them thin enough. I thought there were issues not too long ago with making the BD in tripple layer due to thickness or something like that.
Anyways... this would cool for making an image of a HDD or archiving, but pretty useless otherwise.
