So at the moment I've decided to go with Elemental Designs speakers as I have been hearing good reviews about them. I was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions to 5 speakers (center and 4 sides) in the same price range to consider? Currently I'm looking at

4 of these for front and rear L/R

and this as the center:

I have my own sub setup already. Products are going in a room approx 18x18. Any other suggestions are appreciated. ED Owners opinions are appreciated

You'll never find many poor reviews of anything. What kind of measurements do they have? Which reviews are you using for reference?

Not trying to sway you away from the EDs, but they're rather mysterious, so I find it strange that you've just decided on them.

Personally for around 1000 i would get a pair (or trio) of Emp Tek e5Tis, the matching center, and a pair of Emotiva ERD-1 surrounds.

You do know that the Edesign is in pre-production and the center

is built to order.

Also, go to www.onecall.com and look at the NHT Absolute Zero

speakers and the Classic Two center. If you can squeeze a little

more - then look at the Classic Two bookshelves for the front.

Well, the thing is I'm familiar with ED products in car audio applications. I've read about ed's speakers from people on their forum. Seeing as how this is my first H/T purchase, I'm not really familiar with any other brands whatsoever. But I know there is a wide variety of products out there, so thats why I posted

I'm more of a car audio enthusiast so I'm not completely inept but H/T is a different beast.

Also I did more of a measurement. The room is more so 15x15ish.
