Is this a good resolution for plasma's. I was wondering if that resolution maybe isn't the best if your watching 720P programming? There were a couple of plasmas i was checking out that has this resolution. Thanks.

my 3-1/2 year old 42" Philips 1024x1024 Alis panel is doing 720p just fine, it downconverts it from 1080i, the set itself does not accept a direct 720p signal, but everything from FOX HD to ESPN HD to Discovery HD to HDNET looks great.
