Hi all!

Well, here´s another newbie with LOTS of questions (of course...)

One major though:

Recently hot my hands on a VHP-1031QM (for free!!,never used). Have been running with composite cable for a few days now but do not like the result. Rather a lot of ghosting and "bleeding". Today I bought a RGB-cable and plugged the PJ to my DVD. Pic is better!!! One prob though, seems like only HALF the vertical resolution ?!? Image flickers like possesed. No ghosting or bleeding though. Is there a quick fix for this one? Do I need a line-doubler?

Next question:

Is it possible to get decent pic with composite? I use correct cable so that isnt the prob.

Thanks for a GREAT site!

What you are talking about is (i think) composite sync - nothing to do with the composite input, it is just a way that the data is sent to monitors. When it is sent to a 3-gun PJ, it "loses" sync.

In short, you need a cable that will combine sync, or a video card that can do it with software (ATI Radeon series).
