1080p Upscaling DVD Player?

FULL 1080p is just a 1920x1080 resolution. FULL really has no meaning except for somebody's idea of marketing jabber. What counts is the resolution of the source. Many DVD players will upscale 720x480 to 1080p which is not the same as starting with 1920x1080 on disc as with HD-DVD or Blu-ray.
