I am looking at upgrading to a new HT system. I'm trying for sub-$1K on the receiver. I'm looking at Denon's 1083 and 2802, Onkyo's 700, and Pioneer's 45TX. I like the 45TX's calibration, but is it worth it? What's the difference between the 1083 and 3803, is it just warranty? Magnolia has the 1083 for $799 and wondering if that's a deal or not. I've looked at those because of features such as multi-room, # of optical inputs, component video, etc.

Speakers have not been chosen but it'll be somewhat of a 50/50 HT and music system. I've read about (but not listened to) Aperion 5.1, Mission fs1, Paradigm System 3, Athena Audition, and Wharfdale Pacific Evolution Surround 30. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a local dealer w/ these set ups.

Any suggestions/input is welcome.

Thanks. BTW, the previous post on sub-$1K receivers was good. I also considered the Outlaw.
