I bought a used amp Nady XA-2100 and the guy sent me an 18 gauge power cord. I need a 12 or 14 gauge cord for this amp. Can I buy just the female plug and make my own? If so what is the plug called?

That is an IEC receptacle (like a computer power supply), though I am not sure what size it takes.


I'm not sure you'd find one at Home Depot or Lowe's, but you can get them from Digikey.

Thanks. I was coming back here to post that I found what it is called, but I am still looking for a good source. I can find them for $5.00, but the $12 and $15 shipping is a deal killer.
