12 volt trigger wiring help

So i ran a 3.5mm audio wired through the ceiling which is now finished before i found out i needed a 3.5 mono cable. How do you wire up the 3 wires into the 2 for the screen side of the trigger?

Do you have access to the wires or do you have plugs on each side? You may be able to plug the plug in and have it work. You could also use a stereo to mono converter (on each end if necessary):
