please help me to find the right resolution.

I have an radeon 7500 card .now I have 1024*768 in resolution and

48hz .on sunday I`m gonna get an interface ,so I can get a higher

resolution!

what is the best resolution and hz for my 1209/2

Hi, I got a similar setup with a Radeon 7500 and a BG 1200. I use mine at 1920*[email protected] 60Hz for region 1 viewing. The projector just loves this resolution. Remember to lower the contrast at these high resolutions.


Why do you need an interface to display higher resolutions? Are you talking about a hardware interface? I use Powerstrip (software), and with sync set to negative, it syncs at any resolution I throw at it

with a BG1209s driven by an ATI RAdeon 64 DDR I use [email protected] Hz (for PAL, here in Europe), shrinking the geometry for the anamorphic material.


When I've to use the normal geometry, for 4/3 material, I prefer 1280x1024.

I run my BG1209s using [email protected] /42Hz and works great !

Also using an ATI Radeon 64MB DDR VIVO card in a nice looking PSI htpc case.


For my 1209/2 it's the same resolution / refresh rate.

Hi Sonny,


I am running the BG 1209s using ATI Radeon 32MB (LE converted to DDR)

at 1440 X 1080 @ 72 Hz for 4 x 3 & anamorphic (shrinking the geometry) material.


At 4/3 geometry I am able to see the scan lines 2 meters from the screen
