Hi Guys,

Where is the 5bnc switch on a 1270 with a IFB10Q ?

Well after much trial and error a saw a glimpse of the holy grail last night, 3d image depth.

But I cannot seem to save my size and registration settings into my A or B memory locations. I have read all the posts and done searches , but it has not helped. I am using the RGBHV inputs to my 1270 from a extron 150 and want to save two settings, one for 49hmz and one for 68hmz. If I am reading all of the posts and the PDF correctly then these frequency's should be saved into location#6 and #7 ?. When I try to save them I get a no input message on all of the memory locations except for the A or B , depending which slot I have the card in, I have tried both . My card is a IFB10Q, I have looked for a switch to enable the 5BNC mode but I can't find one. What am I missing the switch or is it just operator error ?

There are no switches on the IFB10Q.

There is a 5BNC switch and it is used to enable more than one memory. The details are best found in the installation manual. You can read it at

Oh and the blocks 6 and 7 you refer to are memory blocks and that is something different than seperate memories. The memory blocks are portions of the memory for different scanning rates. I could try to explain this better if you like. In memory position 1 for example there are several blocks cooresponding to different scanning rates. If you change from 800x600 to 640x480 you may fall into another block and therefore be using a different portion of memory position 1.

Good LUck,

Brian,

Thanks for the reply, here is my problem I want to save a convergence and size setting for 720p with a scanning rate of 48hmz and a second set up for 1080p or 68hmz. I have read the manual and all of the posts and I am not getting it. Please if you don't mind can you walk me through this what I am sure is an easy thing. Right now I am converged for the 720p and to see my image I need to hit the B input as I moved the card to the B slot to see if anything changed. I am using the RGBHV inputs and my card is a IFB 10 Q

Thanks

pull out the card with the round "CCQ" connector. there is (most likely) a switch on it labelled 5BNC / CCQ (i think)

Flick it.
