I'm experiencing a hard time on trying to converge my Sony VPH 1270.

My Sony is fed via an HTPC with the RGBVH cable. The RGB switch is on.

I'm discovering that notwithstanding I'm "playing" on the size controls as soon as I save this settings the dimension of the image is not affected whatsoever by the change of size. The only change of size that affects the dimension of the image is the one done via the rgb size controls.

This doesn't allow me to do the adjustments required.

Any hints.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

The "size" button near the "lin", "pin", "zone" is for convergence. It will only have an effect on one gun at a time and only when you are in "service" mode.

The "RGB size" button is for overall adjustment of the image size for RGB inputs only after getting the convergence done. Get a user/installation manual for this unit if you don't already have one or search this forum for "bighammer" and you will find a link to .pdf files with some of the info.
