I have three input sources to the Sony PC-1271 switcher; a DTC-100, a Dish 6000, and a HTPC. The connecting cables are VGA 15 pin out of the sources on one end and R,G,B, Black, and Grey BNC connectors on the other end going in to the switcher. The switcher input adaptors are labeled R, G, B, Sync/HD, and VD.

The DTC-100 works fine when I connect R, G, B, and then Black to Sync/HD and Grey to VD. However, for the Dish 6000 and the HTPC the picture appears fine for about 2-3 seconds and then disappears. I have tried unhooking and rehooking the Black and Grey BNC’s in all possible different combonation, including one at a time, and I get no picture at all. What’s going on?

I’ve pulled the input card from the switcher and see that there are about eight different jumpers. Do I need to switch one or more of these?

Any help would be much appreciated.

What input cards are you using? ifb-11, ifb-12, ifb-10?
