Huh?

Would you rather try to weed through all the threads to find something. Sticky's make it so much easier, especially for those who are new and don't hang around this forum often.

I don't have a problem with stickys. They are useful. I just think that 14 is pushing it. They take up half the front page for petes sake.

I understand the need but it is excessive!

Looking at them I think 4 or so aren't needed.

I have no problem with the amount of sticky's...but I think that over 100 pages in a single sticky is way too many.

I thouht stickys were meant to prevent unneeded posts, by answering FAQ?

14 Sticky's!?

I personally think that a few Common stickies, with seperates INSIDE it would be better.

The RPTV forum used to have that, you open the common, and was able to select from the list.

Ex:

XA1/A1 threads>

XA2/A2 threads>

HD DVD Audio threads>

Etc...

10 would be okay. More than that gets a little annoying and dubious.

One advantage to limiting stickys is that it encourages the replacement of old super-long threads with newer, more active ones that can summarize the useful info from the old one without off-topic lint & pointless debate & reiteration.

This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
