Hey All--

I'm starting a project to build a system with (2) 15" subs. I have a Behringer EP4000 to drive them, but I'm kind of at a loss of what drivers are good quality.

I have seen some 15" drivers for $50-$100 on partsexpress.com and of course, you can easily spend $1000 per speaker.

I would like to spend in the low $200 range per speaker, but will spend more if necessary. Does anybody have any recommendations?

I was looking at this as a starting point:

Thanks everybody!

When you say $200 per speaker, you mean subs?

Do you also mean wood/driver/extra parts for around $200 excluding amp?? How low and how loud do you want to go??

btw, that car subwoofer from amazon probably isnt going to be a decent choice for a home subwoofer.

Yes, I mean $200 per driver. I already got the amp. MDF, parts, etc. are not included in this range.

As far as how loud/how low--probably as much of both as that 200ish budget will allow for.

When shopping for these, what specs should I be looking for when comparing for a selling point? I'm not familiar with the numbers they post. I can learn though, I'm reasonably scientific lol

Another driver I was looking at was the FiCar Audio Q15:

But I'm not sure it is worth the extra money.

Thanks guys
