I was wondering what opinions were availiable on the best two channel solution.

I don't want to spend everything on an amp but I need a two channel to do double duty HT/Stereo. Anyone have the Levinson 332?

I would just like some feedback http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

My pre-amp is a Theta Casa Nova running single ended, soon to add an AES/EBU transport of reasonable price, would like opinions on AES/EBU output as a pose to COAX???????

I basically have a Casa Nova and am looking to make a strong two channel improvement outside of buying Aerial's excelent towers.

I intend to upgrade my speakers last due to the cost factor. My next pair of speakers may be as much as 4000 (for starters) I just want to work on the front end of my system for awhile.

Since you don't know what kind of speaker you might purchase, I'd get an amp that can drive inefficient speakers with ease (just to be safe). Because certain amps and speakers have a synergy, I'd look at them together (i.e. make a decision on the entire package and purchase seperately). This way you won't limit future speaker possibilities by your impending amplifier purchase.

I am positively thrilled with my Proceed HPA-2 and AMP5. I think the HPA-2 runs 3300-3600, if memory serves me correctly. I got a great deal when I got mine at below 3K. Granted that isn't cheap, but I don't think cheap is what your going after.

The Proceed won't straine except for the most demanding of loads perhaps.

Remember, the Proceed shares many components with Levinson amps. So expect a similar sonic signature, at a fraction of the price for most Levinson.
