The distance would have to be quite a lot greater than 20ft for the heavier gauge to make any difference.

16 AWG or 14 AWG?
I currently have 16 AWG feeding my speakers. Would there be any benefit to switching to 14, or even 12? None of the wires would really be surpassing 20 feet. Thanks!

That's what I thought, but before buying new cable to redo my setup, I thought I'd check. Also, I got some screw-on banana plugs from Monoprice, but the 16 doesn't seem to fit them; I guess I didn't want them to go to waste. Thanks, though.
