Forgive me if this is all old hat, but I couldn't find the question in the FAQ. Now we all know what anamorphic or enhanced for 16x9 is for DVD. More lines, right? But if I show a 16x9 enhanced dvd on my set-top DVD player on a regular TV, a good percentage of those lines are dropped to retain the 16x9 ratio on a 4:3 TV. But, since there is not a problem with available lines on an HTPC, when it "4:3's" the image, does it still drop those lines? I know it rescales the image to fit the resolution, and I think it would be crazy to drop those lines... But I've seen crazier things. So, is my question clear? And is the answer as well known as I'm guessing it is?

Thanks in advance,

Matt
