A newbie here, so be gentle...

I just built a new house, and ran some 18-2 wire to my subwoofer location. I've been reading that RG59 with an F-connector to RCA is probably the most common way to connect a subwoofer through in-wall wiring. Unfortunately, I didn't read that prior to running the wire.

Can I get decent RCA adapters that will work with 18-2 wire? Where? What about a keystone adapter?

Thanks in advance for any pointers you can give me....

Are you talking 18-2, as in lamp cord? There are no RCA "adapters" for this cable. It isn't designed to be use with RCAs. However, if you can solder, the Dayton Super RCA from Parts Express should work. But be warned, zip cord isn't shielded, so you're gong to get some noise (hum).

Some small low budget audio systems use RCA phono connectors on the loudspeaker wires, so some adapters/connectors might be available. Not at all sure what this has to do with the OP's problem though.
