Guys,

Need some advice I will be finishing my theater room here in the next week or two and would like to order my subs sooner than later. My room is 35'Lx15'Wx9'H and will be for almost exclusively movies, tv, and gaming. I am wondering what subs would suit my needs best?

Some sealed subs I am looking at are..

eD A7s-450

TCA 18.1

Ported or Vented

eD A7-350

AV123 MFW-15

Thanks in advance!

This is an interesting recommendation. Do you have any experience with this brand? I would like to hear your thoughts.

I would not buy any non-durable sub from crappy avstealfromcharities 1,2,& 3.

Yeah..... I think I would find someone else to give my money to.

What is the story on the Procella?

It's $10K. It's small and supposedly has monster output (rated at 132 db at 18 Hz - How the manufacturer came up with that number, I don't know).

yeah well considering all these other subs he wanted were less than $1k, that's a pretty stupid reccomendation

Trying to fill 4700cf with one of the subs he listed could also be considered less than ideal ("stupid" is a pretty strong word, don't you think)!

I would save my money and buy something that will do a room that size some justice.

If I was buying a commercial sub I would seriously look into the new kit from AEspeakers is offering.

It is the 15" AV15 plus two 18" passive radiators. You can buy the kit with the enclosure built. All you have to do is install the drivers.

It is not on the website yet but I think it may be available if you call. It should be right around the same price as the other subs listed. Of course you will need an external amp. But power is cheap nowadays. Especially if you go with Pro Amps.

Check out this thread for details.
