Just get the Lg combo BR/HD-DVD reader coming out around the same time for $299. An extra hundred to have both formats on one drive sounds like a better deal to me.

As a customer, I don't want to get burned in the end. I will be purchasing a dual format player so I can get whatever movie is cheaper, or just not be limited to movies or have something that become obsolete before the other... If that'll even happen.
