Hello

Maybe but not advised, much better to convert yours to 34.9kv with MEC tubes, HVPS, neckboards and such, or just get a nine inch Ultra (we have those here for you).

I heard the Thomson tubes were much sharper. So maybe stay with them.

P.S.:

How about my supply?

Tim has said that the Thomson tubes with 40Kv were very prone to arcing problems due to the extra HV.

Why not tweak that 9000 to the best of it's ability, sell it and buy real MEC tubes..:)

Hello

The Damson tubes have about under 500 hoers and look like new .But the old chassis has

a lot of problems. VIM ,HDM ,focus and controller board with old software.Sometimes it is

possible to buy a 8500 or 8500 ultra with burnt tubes for a good price.
