Is anyone concerned about the fact that now some retailers are selling the 1HD or Z1 with a free replacement bulb? I get the feeling they don't expect that the bulbs will even last 1500 hrs.


OR ...


...is it just to try to compete with the L300u which I have seen has bulb life up to 5000 hrs (unless I miss read something)


Just a thought!


I had e-mailed Sanyo about the now 3 year Canadian warranty and asked about bulb life. They avoided the bulb life question.

What did they say about the warranty?


My dealer wasn't aware of a free bulb deal. So I didn't get one.


But, I just got my PLV-Z1 today.

They confirmed that the warranty is now three years.
