1st timer & DVR 8300, trying to extract programs ?

Hi,


1st timer here
. I would like to know how I can pull/extract some/all of my DVR recorded programs off of my DVR 8300? What software do I have to use? How do I do it? Also about the front USB port, can that be used to pull my shows off?
