Hi looking for some really nice computer speakers for my 37 inch bedroom LCD really enjoy concerts and I need something that sounds good without breaking the bank that's for the family room. Any suggestion for a reasonably priced 2.1 system like a nice set of computer speakers. Was thinking I could just use a Y connector and hook the jack from the speakers into that. Looking forward to your thoughts and comments. Thanks!

dare i say bose here? But hey if its just a simple 2.1 bedroom system you are looking for and easy to use and setup look at those bose cinemate system. Plugs right into your audio out of your tv and you can leave it on at t fixed volume and use your TV's variable audio out to adjust the volume... and hey your still with 1 remote.

Say I take that back I think it dos I have audio outputs on the back I would assume it's variable, if it didn't how would you control the volume I know you can control the volume from the earphone jack. Thanks

Say think I found something even better then the Bose, the Sony HT-C100 Sound Bar system, check out the review on Cnet they usually are kind of picky on stuff like this. Also read a review on Amazon were the guy said he didn't like the Bose because it didn't use the HDMI inputs and relied on the low level outputs of the TVs RCA audio connection. And said it just couldn't compare to the HDMI connection of the Sony this link is the Amazon review link #2 only thing now is where's the best place to put the bar? My TV is setting on a table so I don't want to put it on the wall any suggestions the TV is 37 inches.

What do you guys think about these sound bars after all this is for a bedroom, not my entertainment center, there I've spent on 1,800 just the two front speakers along don't want to invest that kind of money for a bedroom. These sound bars seem like they might just fit the bill, any comments??
