2 5040's networked-lag

I have 2 5040's networked together and sometimes when i watch a show from one unit to the other, it is flawless. othertimes, there is lag and the show is unwatchable. has anyone experienced this or have any ideas on how to fix it? thanks.

I have also seen this problem and have not found out what the fix is.

I use the DVArchive way of doing the same thing and I have experienced such bad lag that I have actually locked up my replaytv more than once... never and I repete never try to watch one show from one replay while the other one is grabbing a show from the one you are viewing with. It will cause such bad lag!
