Ok so I have a Radeon 9600 dual display. I have a 19" monitor connected to DVI and an Infocus X1 connected to VGA.
The Problem:
Windows will shut down and no video signal will be found when both devices are connected at the same time.
Problem just recently started occuring so I did a fresh install of XP and ATI drivers.
Both devices work fine on both DVI (w/ VGA Adapter) or VGA when they are done by themselves. When I connect both I get the shutdown after windows splash screen. Then no video signal found message.
