2 Fast 2 Furious

Initially it was reported that parts 1 & 2 would have have True HD.

It was corrected the first week of September that it wouldn't have TrueHD, it was a mistake (on HD Blog Site any)

TruHD would have been nice but the DD+ track is probably the best I have heard to date. Incredible sound. This is one of the first HDDVDs that didn't have anemic sounding bass as well. I didn't think the movie was that bad either.


My only disappointment is I have to return if for another one as the disc skipped about 20 different times throughout the movie. One was bad enough that is actually froze the player.

Its an excellent disc. The picture quality is very sharp (not as good as Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - and I'm still waiting for Tokyo Drift to compare) but very nice.


The audio, however, is phenominal. I agree about the bass.

The bass was good but the dialogue was thin sounding at times compared to effects. Picture quality was certainly good.

the DD+ sounded just fine to me.
