you can get a switch that will allow you to switch sources (avr's , amps) .. if that's what you are looking for..

I did some research on this and I found some boxes around $150 which is a little steep and they seemed to all have weird limits on wattage.


I ended up building one using a four pole double throw switch and some bananna plug terminals. Haven't tested it yet (I'm installing it today) but it seems like it should work just fine. Cost me about $20 in parts.

Yes. You are trying to use the speakers with 2 different amps/receivers? This would let you do that. Should not affect the sound if it is built well.
