OK,

I'm giving up on the possibility of playing back VOB files via the HiPix & I'm going to have to deal with routing my PC display through the HiPix to my RPTV.

My setup currently uses 2 monitors (15" flat panel PC monitor and my RPTV)as my PC is not a 100% dedicated HTPC, I use it for lots of other stuff & don't want to rely on the TV alone as the single monitor.

Finally, to my question: What's the most easily managed way to deal with playing DVD's/VOB files from my PC to my RPTV through the Hipix. As best I can tell I have 2 options:

1. Buy a VGA switch box and toggle the PC VGA signal between my PC monitor and the HiPix loopback port. I assume I'll have to deal with powerstrip settings each time I change/toggle as the supported resolutions on my PC monitor and RPTV are different.

2. Put a second VGA card in the machine, one for use with the PC monitor, one to loop back through the HiPix. Will this actually work?
