Try just eliminating the distorted sub for now.. How does that sound?..is the low end enough? If it is , run it as a single for now and start weighing options in matching the good sub with another or upgrading...

I have a denon AVC x6500 and I am using 2 small cambridge Minx 201 subwoofers.
The one sub i can have with the subs volume turned up, the other I have to have on low or it gets badly distorted.
I have certain basic settings correct i beleive and same on both.
Phase - 0. Crossover - 80.
Within denon I have made most of the settings correct from what I have read.
To test if it was a cable I swapped the subs around and still the same.
I am not greatly AVtech savvy. Can anyone please advise?
Or is the one just probably damaged??
Crossovers on the subs should be disabled or set to max. Max should be somewhere up around 120-150Hz.I have certain basic settings correct i beleive and same on both.
