Need to replace our Yamaha RX-V375 receiver and looking for suggestions that will fit our need. We want to be able to play music in our main room and in an adjacent 3 season porch while being able to control the volume to each separately. We previously had a receiver with connections for B speakers, but the volume was too low, so we think we need a receiver with 2 zones.

We will be connecting 2 DISH DVR's, a ROKU streaming stick and a DVD player using HDMI. We also have an Ipad that we use to stream Amazon Prime music connected via analog cables.

We want to be able to play any of the devices in both the main room and porch and will always be listening to the same audio/watching the same show in both places - just want to be able to control the volume for each zone.

Looking at the Yamaha RX-V777BT, as I think we can do what we want with Party Mode, but would ideally like to find something slightly less $$$$

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The majority of AVRs on the market today can only do "analog" audio to Zone 2, with those able to pass HDMI and digital audio generally only being on mid-level and higher models .... ie. Yamaha A2040. You may also want to consider the Denon X3100W or Marantz SR6009 as the lowest D&M models that can pass HDMI/digital/analog 2.0 audio to Zone 2. Call if interested in pricing on any of these three models noting we currently have a special going on the X3100W and SR6009 in that a purchase of a new unit also includes a free Denon HEOS Link (MSRP $349) which can be used to stream audio from the AVR to one or more wireless HEOS speakers placed elsewhere in the house, or could also be used to stream audio to the V375 as well if you are re-purposing it to another room.
