2000 vs. 3000

I successfully upgraded my old 2000 machine over the weekend to an 80 GB hard drive thanks to RTV Patch. Frankly, I was afraid to upgrade the 3030 just in case something happened. Because of the incresed capacity, the 2000 is now my primary machine, but I've noticed some problems with the sound levels of some stations (some buzzing too).

My question is this . . . Can I just switch around the hard drives in the two machines so that my primary machine is the 3030 again with the better sound without fear. Thank you.

No I wouldn't do that.

You need to upgrade the 3030 separately. You can use the same drive but you need to redo it. Then you could again upgrade the 2000 with the leftover 30GB as an additional step.

You don't want to just swap drives between the 2xxx and 3xxx (replay branded) and boot with the incorrect variant of the OS, there are some differences.
