The new Toshiba 65HX80 does not/cannot display 480p natively.
They upconvert 480p to 540p which will cause unecesary
artifacts.
Last years Toshiba 65H80 and other RPTVs from other brands
display BOTH 480p (DVD's) and 540p/1080i natively.
But new Toshiba 65HX81 RPTVs cannot.
Also, the new 65HX81 has only one convergence memory setting and the scaler makes automatic adjustements from it for all aspect ratios.
Any comments from new 65HX81 owners or those who saw it and chose another brand?
