Changes needed for CBS:

1) Rich Gannon (not Dan Fouts) is doing Denver/Kansas City game.

2) Dan Fouts (not Phil Simms) is doing Raiders/Chargers game.

(I guess Phil is off this week, for whatever reasons)

Simms finally had his back surgery - he will be "back" next week.

You can tell it's a slow week for CBS when #1 team doing Raiders/Chargers (best of a mediocre lot of games).

Fox, NBC and ESPN jumping for joy this weekend as they have the best games - [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected], respectively.

Fox disagrees with you about the Falcons-Bucs game. Look at that tiny audience that doesn't even include Tampa. Meanwhile, everyone else gets the Cowboys-Colts drinking game. Any time a receiver drops an easy pass or the defense gets a pick or recovers a fumble, take a drink.

Atl/TB doesnt really have national interest hence the coverage.

I didn't really understand Fox wanting to switch the ATL-TB game to 4:15. Seems like they could have had a bigger audience leaving it at 1:00 and making it the top early game. That move screws me out of seeing the game because we always get a Colts game whenever a Titans game doesn't override it.

It still wouldnt have been the #1 1:00, that would still be was/nyg.

+ by moving it to 4:15 they now have a better "backup" game to jump to if dal/ind becomes a blowout or ends early.

I like it, my Falcons still flying under the radar.

Let the nation choke on Dallas once more.

No kidding. I clicked on the thread thinking "who's doing my Dolphins-Browns game, Don Criqui?" and it's the #2 team. I feel bad for CBS this week.

That's the best news I've heard this week besides the fact that the Raiders/Chargers game was announced as a sellout so early (as it was announced on Monday). I'm not so much anti Simms as I'm pro Fouts.

I can see that. But had it stayed at 1:00, those of us here in Knoxville would have gotten that game over Wash-NYG because we get nearly every Falcons game.
