Canada is a 2 goal favorite tonight, but is also under a nationwide microscope, which undoubtedly adds a great deal of pressure.

I'm on channel 356 on D* and that's not in HD. At least not on my HD receiver. Lots of scoring though!

Is it just me, or is Emrick's mic running a bit hot and clipping? It sounds very harsh (and has been sounding that way all day).

FiOS TV NYC

I just turned on the game watching the HD feed on my small 4:3 TV and Emrick's mic does sound to loud at times.


Either he has it to close to his mouth or the the gain needs to be turned down.

I think that was the point, DirecTV does not have MSNBC in HD.
