I'm new to LEDs, but I'm looking to get one as my plasma just died on me. I'm trying to figure out what this panel is. On the Panasonic site it says "native 120hz refresh rate 240blb"
What I'm getting from that is the panel is a native 120hz panel with no weird smooth settings on, but goes to 240 with some setting turned out, which I am assuming will trigger the "soap opera effect?"
The way they word it (no comma seperating native 120hz and 250 blb) makes it seem like they are trying some word play to make you think it's native but it's not. I'm just suspicious.
I've emailed Panasonic and waiting on a reply, but I figured I'd ask here too because you guys will probably know more information than whatever Panasonic employee emails me back.
