Ralph,

This is great news indeed! One question though. I already have Wall Street on Blu-Ray.

What makes this upcoming release of Wall Street so different other than the 75th branded packaging or is it just that? Because if it's only the packaging then that doesn't make sense? Just looking for clarification.

Cheers

Can't wait for the Aliens release! Might end up getting them with Abyss instead of the Quadrology though.. never cared much for the 3rd and 4th installments.

The ABYSS/ALIEN/ALIENS triple feature looks to be DVD only. The Blu-ray announcements are in bold above.

Greetings,

In addition to highlighting the Blu-ray titles in bold/italic I edited my opening comments to reflect that.

Comixguru is correct. ONLY the highlighted titles are coming to Blu-ray. The others are DVD releases. Everyone please read the press release carefully to avoid confusion.

Oh..thanks for clarifying that.
i guess ill have to dip for the Quadrology after all.. unless they do end up releasing the movies separately.

So why no classic titles on Blu-ray? When are the studios going to start investing in restoring their older classic titles so we can have HD releases. I give them credit for what they did with "The Robe" (although what they did with "Patton" kind of erases that). But where's the other 100+ classics in HD? The quality is only good enough for DVD release?

Carefull, The website is only offering these 75th releases on DVD. I thought the way they showed the features, that they would be on Blu Ray. I already have some of the advertized titles on DVD. DARN IT. GOT ME ALL EXCITED.

I seen the highlighted BD movies. My mistake for scanning the article instead of reading it in full. Nice job Ralph.

It's about time. That ought to be quite awesome on Blu-ray.

Well, I must say this piqued my interest. But no BD release of ALL THAT JAZZ? Come on Fox! This film still holds up, and the costumes and big chorus scenes just scream for the hd transfer from a pristine print.

DIS A POINT ED

Monsters and action movies are not the only great thing at 130 inches.

And while I rant, Disney, please release YOUNG GIRLS OF ROQUEFORT on BD. Please?
