My room configuration is such that I want to project 22' to a DIY painted wall screen. I will be sitting 17' away from the wall.
Based on recommended 2x1 seating distance vs. image width, that would make the ideal screen width 102". The closest I can find in the list of projectors on projectorcentral is the Benq 6100 which projects a 106" image at 4x3 AR.
1) Does anyone know of a brighter, higher res. PJ capable of these ratios? My budget keeps me under $2500.
2) If I go to XGA or WXGA, would I be able to be closer to the screen (like 1.5x1) without seeing screendoor?
