Hello everyone. I am building a Nvidia 9300 based HTPC for a friend, and I am kind of coming to a stumbling block.

I can get pretty good 24p playback out of the machine, but is there an easy way to switch frequencies depending on source?

I would think you would want to switch to 24p when say TMT3 is launched, generally.. but stay at 60 for everything else, including W7MC. Does anyone know of a good clean way to acomplish this?

Let's take it a step further - most cable/satellite boxes allow output of the native resolution format of the source material - e.g. tuning to a 720p broadcast automatically switches the box output to 720p into the TV.

Is this possible with a Windows HTPC, or does it get over-complicated?
