Through this forum I've found a number of good references discussing 3:2 pulldown and 3:3 pulldown, but recently I ran across this vendor site - that I thought really simplified the explanation, yet gave me a better idea of the nuances of noticing these differences when viewing moving objects.

If you know all this already - move along - nothing to see here. If your new it might be worth a visit.

Thought I'd share. The site is:
http://www.pioneerpurevision.com/demo.html

When you get there click on Advanced Purecinema, and select 3:3 pulldown.

Then use the arrow keys on the bottom left, to advance through the presentation - which covers the effect of interlacing, 3:2 pulldown, and then 3:3 pulldown.
